Mangaluru, Feb 7: Rithin Kumar N B, assistant professor, department of Physics, A J Institute of Engineering and Technology has been awarded PhD degree in Physics in January 2018 by VisvesvarayaTechnological University, Belagavi for his thesis entitled ‘Studies on Preparation and Characterization of Some Novel Polymer Composites’.
He was successfully guided by Prof Dr Vincent Crasta, department of Physics, St Joseph Engineering College, Mangaluru.
Rithin did his Bachelor in Science (BSc) and Master’s degree (MSc) in Physics from Mangalore University. He was the former student of St Philomena College, Puttur. He has published more than 13 research papers in peer review international journals. He has also attended and presented research papers in various national and international conferences. He is the son of Pathramadi Babanna Gowda N and N B Kamalakshi of Golithottu village, Puttur taluk.
