Bahrain: GSS holds drawing competition for children

Bahrain, Jan 1: Non Resident Billawas organization, Guru Seva Samithi – Bahrain Billawas organized ‘Drawing Competition’ for members’ children on December 22 at Kannada Sangha Hall, Manama.

The response was overwhelming as a number of children participated in the event which was held for 3 to 16 years in 5 age groups.

GSS president Ajith Bangera welcomed the parents and addressed the gathering. The judges for this event were Deepak Rao Pejawara, well known yakshgana guru and Kavitha Sampath, architect. Prizes were distributed by Kannada Sangha Bahrain vice president D Ramesh, Bunts Bahrain president Nagesh Shetty, Deepak Rao, GSS president Ajith Bangera and GSS former president Raghu Poojary. Mementos were given by GSS president to judges as a token of appreciation.



Entertainment secretary Pradeep Sudekar hosted the event and thanked the participants and supporters.
