Mangaluru: Trailer of Konkani movie 'Planning Devachem' released

Mangaluru Dec, 7: The trailer of Konkani movie 'Planning Devachem', produced by Severino Fernandes, was released at Daijiworld Audio Visual Studio here on Thursday, December 7.

Fr Andrew D'Souza, parish priest of Bondel Church who invoked God's blessings and released the trailer said that 'Planning Devachem' means planning of God. “God has a plan in everyone's life and an individual cannot change it. Most of us have a habit of blaming God in our bad times. But God never does bad for us. I feel that the message is reflected in this movie. I congratulate producer Severino Fernandes, the director and entire team of the film on this occasion. I wish that the movie may have a successful run in the theaters.”

Walter Nandalike, Founder of Daijiworld Media Group, wishing success to the movie, said that the trailer of 'Planning Devachem' indicates richness of the movie. “Severino and team took two years to complete this movie. They never compromised in technical and production aspects of the movie. Both Mangalurean and Goan artistes have acted in it. On this occasion I congratulate entire team of the movie," he said.

Severino Fernandes said they are happy that the date for the release of the movie is near. “Therefore, we released the movie trailer today. We will be releasing the movie in Goa on January 9 and have plans to release it in Mangaluru in April. I am thankful to the director, actors and all the technicians. I appreciate their help and support and request the same at the time of the film release also,” he said.

Daijiworld Weekly editor Hemacharya, film director Harry Fernandes, actor Stany Alvares, Daijiworld TV managing director Alexis Castelino and entrepreneur Felix Moras were present.

'Planning Devachem' is directed by Rajesh Fernandes. Konkani and Marathi actor, Tapan Acharya, is the leading actor in this movie. Cicil and Seema Buthello are the heroines. Actors like Eddie Fernandes, Stany Alvares, Prince Jacob, John D'Silva, Rons London and others have appeared in different roles. The film is shot in places like Mangaluru, Honnavar, Karwar and Goa. Along with well-known artistes from Mangaluru and Goa, several new faces can be seen in the movie.

Music is composed by Raphael Vinay. N Ramesh Babu is the cinematographer. Editing is by Shivu. Thriller Manju is in charge of stunts, while advertisements are handled by Pinto Vamanjoor.
