Yamaha MT-03 is Expected to be Launched During This Festive Season

Sep 10: Yamaha had a very favourable response with MT-03 along with MT-09 at the auto expo 2016 held earlier this year. Analysing the fact about its great response, Yamaha is set to launch the Yamaha MT-03 version during the festive season. MT-03 is basically a naked version of R3 as it will also have the same engine. It is the truly tested 321 cc, liquid cooled and fuel injected unit which produces 41.4 BHP @10,750 rpm and 29.6 NM @9000 rpm. Yamaha bikes have a gem in the form of twin cylinder machine which makes it an economical choice among the riders. It will be mated to the same 6-speed gearbox, keeping the mechanical specifications exactly the same as R3. Going ahead with the similarity with R3, MT-03 is also not expected to have the ABS with a view to keeping the costs down. MT-03 will be wearing a 140/70 MRF at the rear and 110/70 tyre upfront as the case with R3.

MT-03 will be available in 3 shades -Red Metallic, Black Metallic, and Matt Silver. MT-03 looks great with its sharp features, angular lines, and a stylish head lamp and sculpted fuel tank. The looks for sure gives the awe feeling, how it fares in the Indian market remains to be seen. The launch of the bike has been scheduled around Diwali and price will around Rs. 2.75 lakhs.
