Sri Ambika Annapoorneshwari Temple Holds ‘Navaratri Mahotsav’

Mumbai, Oct 16:  ‘Navaratri Mahotsav’ was held in gaiety and fervour at Sri Ambika Annapoorneshwari Temple, located at Jacob Circle, Saat Raste, Mahalaxmi West, (which serves as a branch of Sri Annapoorneshwari Temple, Sunkadakatte, Bajpe). Various rituals were preformed by the temple priest, Vishwanat Bhat, at the direction of Sri Niranjan Swami, spiritual leader of Sri Kshetra Sunkadakatte, while large crowd of devotees thronged to pay their obeisance to temple deity. 

Arun Gujarati, former speaker of Maharastra and state president of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Prabha A Gujarati, S K Gandhi, former deputy commissioner of BMC, offered special ‘puja’ on Monday October 15 morning.  K T Kunder, Narayan N Poojary, Bhaskar D Shetty, S B Shetty and others were present.

Various religious rites including ‘puja’ will be held throughout the week till the Vijayadashami festival on Sunday October 21.
