Abu Dhabi, Oct 4: Green valley of Perampalli-Manipal members celebrated feast of Nativity along with their family, here recently.

The celebration was held at the residence of Francis and Merlyn Dsouza, conducted by Violet Mascarenhas.

President Allwyn Mascarenhas heartily welcomed the gathering and expressed his gratitude towards all the members for their support and encouragement. This was followed by a festivity message given by the cultural secretary Renita. She spoke on the importance of the feast and its tradition which binds together families.

Flowers were offered and blessed ‘Novem’ in Milk was served to the gathering with the singing of hymns.

Amidst the celebrations, various games were conducted for small children and adults. A short entertainment programme was given by Fredrick D'Souza and Renita. This was followed by the serving of the traditional vegetarian meal and sweet dish.

Prizes were distributed to all the winners prior to the closing ceremony. The vote of thanks was proposed by Julie.
