Dubai, Sep 19: It was an eventful day of ‘Double Dhamaka’ at President Hotel here on September 16, 2011 for Karaval Milan Dubai. Karaval Milan, an association of 19 parishes under the proposed Udupi Diocese, celebrated Feast of Nativity with full fervor, with the wholehearted participation of its members and well-wishers. To make the joyous event worth remembering, Karaval Milan released a special issue ‘Kutam Monthi Festh Vishesh Ankho’ on this auspicious occasion.

The programme began to a full packed audience, with formal welcome by Karaval Milan secretary, Pius James D Souza. Thereafter, James D Souza conducted the prayer service that included showering of flowers, Blessings of New Corn etc. James highlighted the significance of the Feast of Nativity and the values of family relationships. The children came in a procession with flowers, and offered the flowers to Babe Mary. Choir led by Rony Byndoor sang hymns like ‘Sakkad Sangatha Melyan’, ‘Naval Vortavalan’ and ‘Mariyek Hogolsiyan’, which brought back the memories of yesteryears to those present.
