Dec 27: According to reports it is said that the Bajaj will relaunch the Pulsar 200 NS in India in the middle of January 2017. The updated bike will feature kindred design but will be equipped with a BSIV compliant engine.
The two-wheeler manufacturer perpetuated engendering the bike for exports, while it was silently withdrawn from the Indian market. This was done because of the production limitations at the Chankan plant, which focused with the dispatch of the AS 150, AS 200 and the new Avenger range.
Since the AS 200 was dispatched at a same price tag, Bajaj planned to remove the 200 NS thus making way for AS series.
When compared to the 200 NS, AS series did not manage to gain the numbers. So now, Bajaj has planned to come back with 200 NS to the Indian market.

Powering the 200 NS is a 199.5cc liquid cooled, 4 valve, single cylinder triple spark engine that develops around 23bhp and 18.3Nm, while being mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Reports also suggest that the new 200 NS will come with a single-channel ABS, similar to what is offered with the RS200. Bajaj is also expected to update the RS200 with a BSIV engine by the end of January next year.
