Panaji, Apr 15:  Goa, the venue for international film festival of india (IFFI), will now host festival of international short films, documentary and animation films between April 28 to May second, officials stated.

"Noted film actors Aamir Khan and Rahul Bose will be inaugurating this five-day-long festival," Jitendra Deshprabhu, vice president, Kala Academy, an institution which will host the festival, told reporters here on Friday.

Short film maker Anand Patwardhan will be guest of honour for the festival, which is being held in association with union information and broadcasting ministry, Deshprabhu said.

The organizers stated that around 75 short films, documentaries and animation films - including those produced by the Films Division and about two-dozen productions by the Goan filmmakers ranging from three minutes to 50 minutes – will be screened at the "Dinanath Mangueshkar auditorium"as well as the Black Box.
