Panaji, Feb 20: Thirtytwo-year-old British national Desmond Hopes was arrested in the coastal belt of Goa last evening for having unnatural sex with a local 20-year-old boy by luring him with the job offer abroad.
 
Colva police in South Goa took the custody of UK national who has been charged with section 377 of Indian penal code for having unnatural sex. "If convicted, the UK national will face imprisonment upto seven years" said Mr Ujjwal Mishra, DIG of Goa Police.
 
The police terms this case as a rare since there is no actual physical involvement between both. Police officials confirmed that the boy has complained of oral sex, which is difficult to be proved in medical examination.
 
Senior officials stated that the boy belonging to middle strata of economical hierarchy was lured into sex by offering him a job in the bank.
 
"There are no more connections of him established till now in the state. We are investigating the case furthur," said Mishra.
 
Goa police are trying to varify whether accused has been earlier involved in such incidents in his country.
