Kundapur, Oct 23: A young man of Andhra Pradesh origin met watery grave in Shankarnarayana river here on Sunday October 22 afternoon.

The deceased has been identified as Bharath (20), a native of Chanchalapalli in Rangi Reddy district of Andhra Pradesh.  On Sunday afternoon he got into the river to have bath along with his friends Madhav, Bhikshapati and Mohan.  But while having bath, he surged ahead without knowing that the river was deep which resulted in his death.  His body was later fished out from water.

Bharath had come here only a couple of weeks ago from Andhra Pradesh and he was working in the Varahi dam project.

Shankarnarayana police have registered a case in this regard.
