Daijiworld News Network - Mangalore & Dubai

Mangalore, Oct 21: After the initial smooth functioning and timley arrivals and departure of Air India Express since October 3 until now, the first delay has hit several passengers at Mangalore and Dubai airport on Saturday Oct 21, 2006.

The aircraft which was to leave Amritsir on Saturday morning could not take off on time and delay is reported to be indefinite.

Air India staff at Dubai, when contacted by daijiworld, could not confirm the exact time of arrival or whether it will arrive or not. The delay is due to 'technical'  fault said one of the executives.

Air India express passengers are requested to keep in touch with Dubai International airport staff of Air India Express to get the further details, although sources at Mangalore airport indicated that the flight from Dubai might land early on Sunday morning and leave the soon after.

Tentative time: Landing at Mangalore 06.30am, Sunday and Departure around 8.30am Sunday
