Mangalore, Oct 21: Congress leader and Someshwar gram panchayat member Girish Ucchil (47) died of cardiac arrest while fishing in the sea on Friday October 20 morning.
As usual, Girish had gone fishing to the sea using a tube. However, he suffered a massive heart attack while in the middle of the sea. Though he was immediately rushed to the shore by fellow fishermen, he had breathed his last by then.
Local leaders U T Khadar, Ishwar Ucchil, Lily D'Souza have condoled the death of Girish Ucchil.
