Mangalore, Oct 20: Spandana '06, a gathering of youth from Karnataka was inaugurated in the Loyola Hall at St Aloysius College premises here on Friday October 20 morning.
Bishop Aloysius Paul D'Souza of Mangalore inaugurated the gathering. The gathering has jointly been organized by Karnataka Youth Commission and Jesus Youth.
The gathering will be held till Monday October 23 evening. On the same evening famous Rex Band is holding a musical evening in the same premises.
Fr Francis Serrao, rector, St Aloysius College, Fr Peter Noronha, parish priest of Bendore Church, Fr Elias D'Souza, director, ICYM, Sr Rosemary, animator, Karnataka Jesus Youth Team (KJYT), Vinod Sebastian, coordinator, KJYT and Shinto, coordinator, Karnataka ICYM were also present on the dais.
