Mangalore, September 16: The inauguration of Beary Centre for Study and office of All India Beary Parishat was held on Friday.

Inaugurating the Beary Centre for Study at the Capital Avenue building near DC Office, Surathkal MLA J Krishna Palemar said that by studying about Beary culture the future generation will get to know the culture of the Beary community, who have business as their main occupation in Tulunadu.

He said that there is a need to conduct various programme when people are fighting among themselves in the name of religion and cast.

Kanachur academy of General Education chairman, U K Mono, who inaugurated the office, said that instead of pointing out few, who indulged in crime, those who do good work have to be recognized, he added.

Ali India Beary Parishad honorary president B M Mumthaz Ali distributed the scholarship. All India Beary Parishat honorary president B M Mumthaz Ali, president Mchammed Hanif, convener J Hussain and general secretary Abdul Aziz Haq were present.
