Udupi, Sep 14: Preparations are on in the town of Shri Krishna, the temple town of Udupi.
There is a festive mood everywhere. People are getting set for the Mosarukudike, the local name for the north Indian 'Dahi Handi'.
In Kaup near here, competitions like sack race were held late evening on Wednesday, September 14. A large crowd gathered and enjoyed the scene, as many people took part in the races.
