Mangalore, Sep 15: Photo journalist G K Hegde has bagged the first prize in the photo contest of the Krishna fancy dress competition organized by Kalkura Foundation in 2005
Sheikh Hasan won the second prize while staff photographer of Prajavani-Deccan Herald Anand Bhakshi won third prize. Narayana Balila and Satish Kumar won compensatory prizes.
On Wednesday, the awards were distributed in the Press Club.
G K Hegde was honoured by Canara Bank General Manager T D Pai on the occasion.
District Working Journalists Association President Ravindra Shetty spoke on the occasion. Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, Prof M B Puranik and others were present on the occasion.
