Mangalore, Sep 13: An opportunity for the Self – Help Groups (SHGs) across the state to display the products they manufacture, will be provided by the Navodaya Grama Vikasa Charitable Trust, which will organize ‘Kudlotsava – 2006’ here, between October 20 and November 30.
Announcing this at a press meet on Tuesday September 12, M N Rajendra Kumar, chairman, State Apex Bank, added that the exhibition will also be open to other SHGs, and not only to Navodaya Self-Help Groups. Cultural programmes by members of SHGs, amusement park and food stalls will also be part of the event. Nearly 50 SHGs have confirmed their participation, he said.
Trustees Ashok Kumar, Rajaram Bhat, Bhaskar Kotian and Narayana Kamath were present at the press meet.
