Rs.54 crore sanctioned for Delhi hospital


New Delhi, Apr 10 (IANS): The Delhi government Tuesday decided to provide Rs.54 crore to Rajiv Gandhi Super Specialty Hospital for its completion and upgradation under the norms of Green Building Concept.

The decision was taken in a cabinet meeting presided over by Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit.

Another Rs.99.71 crore were earlier sanctioned for the 650-bed hospital in east Delhi.

"The government has been striving hard to make available quality health services by providing world-class medical equipment," Dikshit told reporters.
