Mangaluru, Sep 29: The Annual General Body Meeting of the Gulf Retirees Association Karnataka for the year 2025–26 was held successfully on Sunday, 29 September 2026, at the Jamiyyatul Falah Auditorium, Kankanady, Mangaluru.

The meeting reviewed the activities and progress of the Association during the year and provided an opportunity for members to discuss various matters concerning the welfare and interests of Gulf-retirees.

The meeting was attended by the office bearers of the Association, including honourary president Hamza Mittur, vice president Mohammed Hussain Araki, vice president Abdul Hameed Uchhil, vice president Adam Beary, general secretary Melwin Lobo, joint secretary Yousuf Aladka, treasurer Bava Abdul Qadir, and organising secretary Jamaluddin Vittal.

As the President Sayed Shahul Hameed was on a foreign tour, Mohammed Hussain Araki presided over the function.

The Association also had the privilege of welcoming several distinguished guests on the occasion, namely Ismail Ullal, Ashraf Cheriyapandel, Dr. Mohammed Nawaz, Prashanthi Veronica Coelho, Majeed Uchhil, and Ismail Kinya.

The gathering provided a valuable platform for reflecting on the Association's initiatives and achievements during the past year and for discussing its future programmes and priorities. The office bearers expressed their commitment to strengthening the activities of GRA Karnataka and continuing its efforts towards the welfare, dignity and social security of Gulf retirees.

The members appreciated the collective efforts of the Association and expressed their continued support for its various welfare initiatives.

The Annual General Body Meeting concluded on a positive note, with renewed commitment to building a stronger and more supportive platform.
