Udupi, Sep 29: A case has been registered at Udupi Town police station following the theft of a private bus that was parked behind Hanuman Petrol Bunk in Udupi.
According to the complaint, Krishna (51), a resident of Katbelthur, Kundapur, is the conductor of Sri Durgamba bus bearing registration number KA-20-AD-1931, while Rayin Uchila is the driver.
The bus was parked behind Hanuman Petrol Bunk at around 9:48 pm on September 28. At around 10 pm, the complainant reportedly left the place along with the driver on a scooter.
When Krishna returned to Hanuman Petrol Bunk at around 9:00 am on September 29, he found that the bus was missing from the spot where it had been parked.
Based on the complaint that two unidentified persons had allegedly arrived on a two-wheeler and stolen the parked bus, Udupi Town police have registered a case.
