Doha, Sep 22: Tulukoota Qatar has introduced its newly elected executive committee for the 2026–2028 term, under the leadership of president Vijay Kumbra, who was elected unopposed at the Annual General Meeting held on July 3 at ICC Qatar Hall.
With a proud legacy spanning more than 26 years and the successful completion of its Silver Jubilee celebrations, Tulukoota Qatar is set to embark on a new chapter focused on culture, sports, community service, togetherness and meaningful initiatives.
The new committee aims to build on the organisation’s strong foundation while bringing fresh ideas and greater opportunities for members and families across all age groups.

A new term, a new journey
The newly appointed committee is committed to carrying forward the rich legacy and traditions of Tulukoota Qatar while bringing in fresh ideas, engaging programmes and new opportunities for members across all age groups.
As part of its vision for the new term, the committee is preparing a vibrant calendar of cultural programmes, sports activities, social initiatives and family-oriented events. These initiatives aim to strengthen community participation, promote togetherness and create meaningful opportunities for members and families to connect and celebrate their shared heritage.
Some of the upcoming activities include:
• Tulukoota Qatar picnic – Bale Tirgare Poyi
• Sports festival – Gobbuda Isira
• Along with many more cultural, sporting and social initiatives throughout the term.
Each programme is planned with the aim of bringing people together, encouraging participation and providing opportunities to showcase members talent, traditions, sporting spirit and love for Tulunadu.
The newly elected committee expressed its sincere gratitude to all members and sought their wholehearted support, encouragement and cooperation as it embarks on its new term. The committee said that with the collective support and participation of the members, it looks forward to taking Tulukoota Qatar to greater heights and achieving greater milestones in the years ahead.
