Mangaluru: Sixth edition of Technovanza to be held on Sep 23

Mangaluru, Sep 16: The sixth edition of Mangaluru Technovanza 2026, a platform to showcase the cluster's technology and innovation ecosystem, will be held at the Dr TMA Pai International Convention Centre here on Wednesday, September 23.

The Department of Electronics, IT, BT, Government of Karnataka, and the Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM) are organising this annual business and tech conference under the Beyond Bengaluru initiative. The event aims to position this emerging tech cluster as the 'Silicon Beach of India'. Ecosystem partners for the event include ASSOCHAM, IESA, Nasscom, and STPI.

The event will be hosted by Priyank Kharge, minister for home, IT, BT and e-governance, Government of Karnataka, who will address new initiatives and the next phase of growth for the cluster.

According to the organisers, the event is expected to bring together over 600 delegates, 70 startups, 60 global capability centres (GCCs), and over 20 investors. Consocia Advisory is serving as the PR partner for this flagship technology initiative.

The day-long programme features several key highlights, including:

  • Updates on new investments, emerging startups, talent expansion, and success stories from across the region.

  • A GCC and industry connect bringing together technology companies to explore Mangaluru's growing role in the global ecosystem.

  • A startup and innovation showcase spotlighting high-potential, homegrown ventures from the coastal Karnataka region.

  • Investor connect and 'Beyond Bengaluru BLUE' to create opportunities for startups to engage with investors and mentors for investment readiness.

  • Technology and innovation conversations focusing on digital transformation and emerging technologies shaping the region's growth.

  • Industry-academia collaborations connecting leaders with research institutions to strengthen talent and knowledge creation.

  • Global industry and ecosystem partnerships to facilitate collaborations between businesses and startups to unlock new opportunities.

  • A curated media familiarisation visit to experience the local technology and innovation ecosystem first-hand.

The event will showcase the city’s evolution as an emerging technology, knowledge, and innovation hub under Karnataka’s Beyond Bengaluru vision.
