Mumbai, Sep 7: Comedian Samay Raina took a playful swipe at a contestant's outdated gender stereotype during the sixth episode of Season 2 of India's Got Latent, which featured Rakhi Sawant, Ashneer Grover, Kushagra Srivastava and Balraj Ghai on the panel.

During an interaction with the panel, the contestant claimed that "mostly" women do not know how to drive properly while recounting an incident involving his car. Raina immediately called out the remark, joking, "1980 ka call aa raha hai. They're asking for their stereotype back."

He then asked, "Ladkiyon ko driving nahi aati?" before turning to Rakhi Sawant and adding, "She's gonna drive you crazy right now."

The contestant subsequently explained the incident that had led to a confrontation. He claimed that a woman had crashed into his car and that four men then intervened. According to him, the situation escalated after they allegedly abused him, following which he assaulted them.

Raina asked him whether he had assaulted all four men, to which the contestant replied in the affirmative. Raina then asked whether he had hit the woman involved in the incident.

The contestant quickly clarified that he had not assaulted her, saying, "I respect women, do behne hain mujhe."

The contestant introduced himself as a professional MMA fighter and international Taekwondo champion. He also demonstrated his physical strength on the show by breaking a hard clay roof tile with a kick after confidently asking the audience to cheer him on.

Following the stunt, Raina, referring to his own Kashmiri roots, joked, "Tu ek Kashmiri ke saamne ghar todne wala hai? Main ye nahi dekh sakta hoon."

India's Got Latent Season 2 is the second season of Raina's popular comedy and talent show, in which contestants showcase their talents while the host and guest panelists react with the programme's trademark unfiltered humour.

The show has gained a substantial online following for its unconventional format, candid interactions and irreverent approach to comedy and talent-based performances.
