Mumbai, Sep 5: Actress Farrhana Bhatt, who remained in the spotlight following her stint on Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 19, has clarified that she will not be joining MTV Roadies 21 as a gang leader.
Farrhana emerged as the first runner-up on Bigg Boss 19 and later took on another challenge with Khatron Ke Khiladi 15, where she tested her mettle in Rohit Shetty’s stunt-based reality show. Amid her growing television presence, reports had recently claimed that she could be the next addition to Roadies as a gang leader.
However, Farrhana has now dismissed the speculation and said she has no plans to take up the role.
Taking to her X handle, Farrhana issued a clarification and also revealed that she has decided to take a short break after her stint on Khatron Ke Khiladi 15.
“A little clarification for everyone who’s been asking me about Roadies. No, I won’t be a Gang Leader on this season of Roadies,” she wrote.
She explained that she wanted to step away from physically demanding and adventure-based shows after giving her all to Khatron Ke Khiladi.
“I’ve decided to take a small break from physically intense and adventure-based shows after giving everything I had to Khatron Ke Khiladi. Khatron has taken a lot of my energy, strength and emotions, and right now, I feel like I need some time to breathe, recharge and explore other things,” Farrhana said.
She added that her decision was not a permanent rejection of adventure-based shows and that she could consider another opportunity in the future.
“That doesn’t mean I’m saying no to adventures forever! I’m sure there will be another time, another opportunity and another challenge,” she said, while wishing the Roadies gang leaders and the entire team the best for the upcoming season.
Farrhana also thanked her fans for their continued support and enthusiasm whenever she takes on new challenges.
Following her statement, several fans expressed their support in the comments. One fan advised her to focus on acting projects, while another called her decision “very wise” and said they would like to see her pursue acting opportunities. Another fan simply urged her to take care of herself.
Meanwhile, speculation surrounding Roadies 21 continues to grow, with reports doing the rounds about the celebrities who could join the show as gang leaders.
Actor Karan Kundrra’s name has been widely mentioned, with reports suggesting that he could return to the reality show and take over the position previously held by Prince Narula. However, the makers have not officially announced the new gang leader line-up so far.
