Mangaluru, Sep 4: The Yenepoya Institute of Arts, Science, Commerce and Management (YIASCM), a constituent unit of Yenepoya (deemed to be university), will organise Navyarambh, the PG Student Induction and Orientation Programme 2026, from September 7 to 9, 2026 at the YMK Auditorium, Kulur campus. '
The three-day programme will bring together newly admitted students of MBA, MCA, MSc forensic science, MSc Chemistry, MSc Microbiology, and MSc Food Science and Nutrition. It is designed to introduce students to the academic environment, institutional values, support services, campus facilities, and opportunities available at the University.




The inaugural ceremony on September 7 will be graced by Dr P Sreeramana Aithal, director, Poornaprajna Institute of Management, Udupi, as the chief guest and Dr B T Nandish, controller of examinations, Yenepoya (deemed to be university), Mangaluru, as the guest of honour.
Prof Jeevan Raj, principal, YIASCM, will preside over the ceremony in the presence of Prof Shareena P, vice principal and dean, faculty of Commerce and Management; Narayan Sukumar A, vice principal; heads of departments; faculty members; and support staff.
The programme will include interactive sessions on academic regulations, outcome-based education, career planning, professional ethics, leadership, digital learning resources, co-curricular activities, and wellness. The sessions will help students understand academic expectations and explore opportunities for personal, professional, and career development.
Navyarambh reflects YIASCM’s commitment to academic excellence, innovation, industry exposure, and value-based education. Through this initiative, the institution seeks to provide students with a strong foundation for a meaningful and successful postgraduate journey.
