Mangaluru, Aug 13: Mohammed Ali Shihab A, IAS (NL: 2011) took charge as chief vigilance officer of Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL), a Schedule 'A' Miniratna Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) and subsidiary of ONGC under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, today.
The Competent Authority, Government of India, approved the appointment of Mohammed Ali Shihab A, IAS (Nagaland Cadre, 2011), as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of MRPL under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas.

An officer of the 2011 batch of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Mohammed Ali Shihab A brings with him rich administrative experience and extensive exposure to public governance. He has had a distinguished career, having served in key leadership roles across the state secretariat and district administration, as well as in multiple flagship development sectors of the Government of Nagaland. His experience is marked by a proven track record of delivering impactful governance outcomes.
