Udupi: Insurance education, awareness programme held at Madhava Kripa School

Udupi, Aug 12: An insurance education and awareness programme was organised for the students of Madhava Kripa School on August 8, in association with the Udupi Insurance Institute.

The programme was conducted as part of the Skill Education Club’s initiative to create awareness among students about the importance of financial planning and insurance.

The session was led by eminent resource persons from the Udupi Insurance Institute — Prahlad Bhat, retired administrative officer; Vijay Kumar, senior business manager; and Shilpa Sarovar, honorary secretary.

Through an engaging and informative interaction, they introduced students to the fundamentals of insurance and highlighted its relevance in everyday life. The programme was graced by Kasturi Kamath, vice principal of Madhava Kripa School.

Kavitha Kamath and Prasanna, coordinators of the Skill Education Club, organised and coordinated the programme. The event was compered by Andrea, while Shravya proposed the vote of thanks.
