Mangaluru, Aug 11: A motivational session, ' Zeal Talk'-"From potential to excellence - Your journey at Expert", for the I PUC students was led by Subramanya Udupa H C, principal, at the Cultural Centre of Expert PU College, Valachil, on August 9.
Addressing the gathering, the principal emphasised the importance of discipline, time management, and consistent study habits for academic success. He urged students to set clear goals and work diligently towards achieving them in their upcoming board and competitive examinations.
The session covered effective exam preparation strategies, stress management, and the significance of balancing academics with extracurricular activities. The principal also highlighted the college’s academic support systems, encouraging students to make full use of the available resources and faculty guidance.
“Success comes to those who are regular, focused, and self-motivated,” he told the students, adding that the institution is committed to providing all necessary support for their growth.
He concluded the session by speaking about hostel life and hygiene, stating, "Residential life is more than living away from home; it is a journey of becoming responsible, resilient, and compassionate".
Druthi V Hegde, vice principal (admin); Anitha P Shetty, chief resident mentor and other faculty members were present during the session.
Aikya Karanth, a student, welcomed the gathering and proposed the vote of thanks.
