Nandurbar, Aug 9: Police in Maharashtra's Nandurbar district have arrested a 22-year-old man for allegedly sexually abusing minors and young men and blackmailing them with videos, officials said.
The accused has been identified as Chetan Prakash Koli, a resident of Raisingpura. He allegedly lured minors with money and exploited them by threatening to circulate videos of the alleged acts on social media.
Police suspect that the alleged abuse had been taking place since 2022.

The investigation began after police received confidential information about a man allegedly targeting minors. During a search of Koli's mobile phone, police recovered more than 600 obscene videos and several photographs, Superintendent of Police Ashwini Sanap said.
The seized mobile phone has been handed over to a forensic team for examination. Police are now working to identify the people seen in the videos and photographs and contact them to record their statements.
"The police received confidential information that a man was luring minors with money and committing crimes against them," Sanap said.
She added that the investigation so far indicated that the accused had allegedly been involved in such acts since 2022.
"Based on those videos and photographs, victims will be contacted, and their statements will be recorded," the officer said.
Police are continuing their investigation to establish the full extent of the alleged abuse and identify all potential survivors.
