Udupi, Aug 5: An unidentified body of man, believed to be around 30-35 years old, was found floating in the Papanashini river in Pitrody, Udyavar, on August 5.
Upon receiving information, the police visited the spot and initiated the necessary procedures.
The body was shifted to the district hospital with the assistance of social worker Nityanand Volakad.
The Kaup police have registered a case and are investigating the identity of the deceased.
