SMVITM to host three-day national FDP on AI-Driven EDA and VLSI system design

Udupi, Jul 29: The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management (SMVITM), Bantakal, will organize a three-day national level Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on "AI-Driven Electronic Design Automation and VLSI System Design: Theory to Practice" from August 6 to 8.

The national-level FDP is being organized in association with the IEEE CEDA Bangalore Chapter and is designed for faculty members, researchers, postgraduate scholars, and industry professionals seeking to enhance their knowledge of modern Electronic Design Automation (EDA), VLSI system design, AI-driven chip design methodologies, and hardware security.

The programme will feature distinguished experts from academia and industry, including IEEE CEDA leaders and former Texas Instruments professionals, who will deliver expert lectures and hands-on sessions using open-source EDA tools. Participants will gain practical exposure to emerging technologies shaping the future of semiconductor and integrated circuit design.
