Mangaluru, Jul 24: The Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University, successfully organized 'VIVADH 2026' debate contest on July 21 and 22 for the students of BBA Aviation Management and BBA Aviation and Logistics Management. The competition was organized with the objective of enhancing students’ communication skills, critical thinking, analytical abilities, confidence, and their capacity to express their views effectively on relevant topics.
The debate contest provided students with a platform to present their opinions, engage in meaningful discussions, and develop the ability to analyse different perspectives. The participants actively demonstrated their knowledge, logical reasoning, presentation skills, and confidence while expressing their views on the given topics.






A total of 36 teams participated in the first round of the competition. Based on their performance, 8 teams were shortlisted for the second round. The competition witnessed active participation and engaging performances from the students. After evaluation by the judges, the winners of VIVADH 2026 debate contest were Jonathan from first year BBA Aviation and Logistics Management secured the first place. Shourya and Parvathi Joshi from first year BBA Aviation and Logistics Management jointly secured the second place, while Meenakshi from final year BBA Aviation Management secured the third place.
The event was conducted with the support and guidance of the Dr Pavithra Kumari, dean, Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University, SWO, HODs, management coordinator, faculty members, student volunteers, and staff members of the Institute of Aviation Studies.
