Srinivas University BBA dept hosts inter-department management event 'Think Forge 2026'

Mangaluru, Jul 16: The BBA department, Institute of Management Commerce (IMC), Srinivas University successfully organized an inter-department team management event named 'Think Forge' on July 15 under the Management Forum. The event was conducted by the forum coordinator Prof Shikha, along with the student coordinators Adithya S Kulal and Fatima Mazida Begam.

THINK FORGE 2026, organized by the Management Forum of the Department of BBA, Srinivas University, was successfully conducted on July 15. Students from BCom, IPSLM, B Ed, hotel management, and BPT enthusiastically participated in the inter-department management event. The competition consisted of five rounds, with elimination beginning after the second round.

Based on the performance in each round, the top five teams qualified for the final round, which was judged by Prof Elson D'Souza on the basis of innovation, teamwork, presentation, feasibility of ideas, and leadership.

After a highly competitive final round, the Hotel Management team emerged as the winners, while the BEd team secured the runners-up position. The event was a grand success and provided an excellent platform for students to demonstrate their managerial and problem-solving skills.

The department of BBA expressed sincere gratitude to dean Dr Venkatesh S Amin, HOD Prof Shilpa K, and the deans of all participating departments for their support and for encouraging their students to be a part of this enriching event. Appreciation was also extended to Prof Elson D'Souza, the faculty coordinators, student coordinators, volunteers, and all participants for making THINK FORGE 2026 a memorable and impactful event.
