Mumbai, Jul 15: The 87th annual general body meeting (AGM), talent awards, and felicitation programme of Shri Rajaka Sangha Mumbai was held under the presidency of CA Vijay Kundar at Mogaveera Bhavan in Andheri West on Sunday.
For the term 2026–2028, the central committee elected Harish V Salian as president, Vithal Madiwal as vice president, Umesh R Salian as secretary, Jaya Kundar as treasurer, Praveen P Kundar as joint secretary, and Suresh N Salian as joint treasurer. Sundar H Madiwal, Sumitra R Palimar, Ronak Kundar, Subhash Salian, Srinivas Madiwal, Dayanand Salian, Prakash Gujaran, and Balaraj Bangera were chosen as executive committee members. M/s R K Karanth and Company, Chartered Accountants, Mumbai, were appointed as statutory auditors for 2026–2027, while CA Pradeep Kundar and Harish U Salian were selected as internal auditors.





The sangha also appointed presidents for its five regional zones: Jayaraj Bangera (Dombivli), Santhosh Salian (Navi Mumbai), Ramesh Kundar (Vasai), Prasad Salian (Western), and Shankar Salian (Central). Shuba D Gujaran was chosen as the president of the women's wing, and Sandeep Salian was elected as the president of the youth wing, Yuva Rajaka.
Students of the community who passed their recent academic examinations with flying colors were presented with cash prizes, certificates, and bouquets. Additionally, Western zone president Dayanand Salian, vice president Prasad Salian, and women’s wing president Swathi Prasad were felicitated with shawls, bouquets, and mementos for their dedicated service, cultural event management, and fund collection efforts for the development of the association.
Shubha Dayanand Gujaran, who brought laurels to the community by winning two gold medals and one silver medal in shot put, discus, and javelin throw events at an international competition, was grandly felicitated by sports wing president Umesh Salian, vice president Suresh Salian, sports advisor Ashok Kundar, and other office-bearers.
In his presidential address, outgoing president Vijay Kundar shared his 15-year long journey with the association and urged the youth to come forward in unison to secure the future of the sangha. He expressed his gratitude to all members, seniors, and the community for their direct and indirect support during his tenure.
Vice president Harish V Salian and treasurer Sumita D Salian were present on the dais. The meeting commenced with a prayer by the women's wing of Shri Rajaka Guru Machideva Bhajana Mandali, followed by the formal lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries. Honorary secretary Sumitra R Palimar welcomed the gathering and presented the annual report, while treasurer Jaya Kundar presented the statement of accounts. Senior members and heads of various organizations present were honoured with bouquets. Joint secretary Ronak Kundar proposed the vote of thanks. The meeting concluded with the national anthem.
