Podar International School students visit Asare Animal Care Trust as part of volunteer programme

Media Release

Mangaluru, Jul 10: Students of Podar International School, Mangaluru, visited Asare Animal Care Trust on July 1 as part of the school's monthly donation drive under the Podar Volunteer Programme 2026-27.

Students from each class contributed to the initiative by bringing materials required for the care of rescued animals. The donations included pet essentials such as animal feed, medicines and other supplies.

The visit aimed to instil compassion, empathy and a sense of social responsibility among students while supporting the welfare of animals.

The students interacted with the animals and handed over the donated items to the trust. The experience left them with a sense of fulfilment and reinforced the importance of community service and kindness towards animals.

The school said the activity was part of its ongoing efforts to encourage students to participate in meaningful social initiatives through the Podar volunteer programme.
