Srinivas University IMC hosts 'Mind 2 Market' to sharpen students' marketing skills

Media Release

Mangaluru, Jul 3: The BBA department, Institute of Management Commerce (IMC), Srinivas University successfully organized an inter-class marketing event named ‘Mind 2 Market’ on June 30 under the Management Forum. The event was conducted by the forum coordinator Prof Shikha, along with the student coordinators Adithya S Kulal and Fatima Mazida Begam.

A total of 36 teams, each with two members from the BBA programme, participated in this engaging competition. The event was designed with four distinct rounds, featuring eliminations after each stage to progressively challenging the participants.

The competition commenced with round 1, a quiz, followed by round 2, which focused on logo identification. In round 3, teams were tasked with selling products to customers, testing their direct sales capabilities. The ultimate challenge, round 4, required participants to convince judges on the sale of defective products, highlighting their negotiation and persuasive skills. This final round was expertly evaluated by Prof Yashashwi A Ail and Prof Subrat Saraf.

The ‘Mind 2 Market’ event concluded as a resounding success, with three highly qualified teams emerging as winners. We extend our sincere gratitude to the dean, Dr Venkatesh S Amin, and the HOD, Prof Shilpa K, for their invaluable support and guidance, which were instrumental in the event's triumph.
