Udupi: Madhava Kripa School celebrates Doctors' Day

Udupi, Jul 2: National Doctors’ Day was celebrated meaningfully at Madhava Kripa School Middle School section.

The chief guest for the occasion was Dr Chetana Babu K Udupa from the department of pathology, MAHE. In her speech, she highlighted the importance of regular exercise, a balanced diet, a disciplined lifestyle, and healthy daily habits for maintaining good health. She encouraged students to cultivate healthy habits from childhood, emphasizing that they form the foundation for a successful and fulfilling life.

The principal, Swathi Kulkarni, spoke about the importance of physical and mental health and encouraged students to focus on their overall development and well-being.

Vice principals Kasturi Kamath and Jyothi Santhosh were also present on the occasion.

The program was coordinated by Teacher Akshatha and Teacher Trishna. The welcome address and introduction of chief guest was delivered by student Andrea Evelyn Sequeira of 8G, the programme was compered by Nidheesh Bhandary of 7F, and the vote of thanks was proposed by Suhaan LB 7B, Ishana Singla 8D spoke about importance of doctors day celebration, Group song on thanking doctors was performed by Swasti M Bhat and team.

As part of the programme, 105 students who had achieved proficiency in studies during the previous academic year were honoured with prizes and certificates.
