Mangaluru, Jun 22: St Aloysius Industrial Training Institute, Mangaluru, organised the Hyundai Graduation Day 2026 on June 22 at Samipya Hall to celebrate the successful completion of the Hyundai–St Aloysius ITI Education Programme by the MMV second year students.
The programme was graced by Fr John D'Souza SJ, director, St Aloysius ITI, along with distinguished representatives from Advaith Hyundai, namely Anand Kumar, general manager – Service & Bodyshop, Aruna Poojary, training manager, and Karthick Pai, service manager. The event was also attended by Roshan D'Souza, principal, Alwyn Menezes, vice principal, Wilson N, training officer, faculty members, students, and invited guests.















The ceremony commenced with a prayer, followed by the welcome address and the traditional lighting of the lamp. The programme highlighted the successful collaboration between Hyundai and St Aloysius ITI in providing industry-oriented training to MMV students, thereby enhancing their employability and technical competence.
A major highlight of the event was the distribution of Course Completion Certificates to the graduating students who successfully completed the Hyundai training programme. The graduates were further encouraged by the distribution of job offer letters from Hyundai dealer partners, reflecting the effectiveness of the training programme in preparing students
for professional careers in the automotive sector.
Addressing the gathering, Anand Kumar, general manager – service & bodyshop, Advaith Hyundai, appreciated the commitment and performance of the students and emphasised the importance of continuous learning, discipline, and professionalism in the workplace.
In his presidential address, Fr John Dsouza SJ congratulated the graduates and encouraged them to become skilled, responsible, and dedicated professionals who contribute positively to society and the industry.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Robin Vas, convener of the programme, followed by the National Anthem. The event served as a significant milestone in the academic and professional journey of the students and strengthened the partnership between St Aloysius ITI and Hyundai in promoting skill-based education and employment opportunities.
A total of 23 students successfully graduated from the programme, and 7 students received job offer letters from Hyundai dealer partners.
The programme was efficiently compered by Mohammed Aman of MMV first year, who served as the master of ceremonies and contributed to the smooth conduct of the event.
