Mangaluru, Jun 11: The Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University, successfully organized a guest lecture on ‘Future opportunities in the aviation industry’ on June 8 at the Aviation Campus, Hampankatta, Mangaluru. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from final year students of BBA Aviation Management and BBA Aviation and Logistics Management.

Mohit Rawat, was an air traffic controller, and currently he is selected as assistant director (Operations) in DGCA. He has delivered an insightful guest lecture on 'Future Opportunities in the Aviation Industry', highlighting the rapid growth and transformation of the sector. He discussed emerging trends, technological advancements, and the increasing demand for skilled professionals across various aviation domains.

The session provided students with valuable knowledge about career opportunities in aviation management, air traffic services, airport operations, airline management, logistics, and related fields. Emphasizing the importance of continuous learning, adaptability, communication skills, and technical competence. He also encouraged students to prepare themselves for the evolving industry requirements.

An interactive session enabled participants to engage with the speaker and gain clarity on career prospects and professional development. Guest lecture successfully inspired students to explore aviation careers and stay informed about future industry developments.

The event was successfully conducted under the constant support and guidance of Dr Pavithra Kumari, dean, Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University, along with the support of the heads of department and the cooperation and coordination of the faculty members and staff of the Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University.
