Mangaluru: Carmel Central School Kotekar welcomes new joint secretary

Mangaluru, Jun 9: Carmel English Medium Higher Primary School, Kotekar, warmly welcomed the newly appointed joint secretary, Sr Maria Ujvala A C, with a special programme organised by the school community.

The programme commenced with a graceful welcome dance, followed by a melodious song presented by the students. The ceremonial lighting of the lamp symbolised the beginning of a new chapter and invoked god's blessings on the gathering.

The principal, Sr Pramila D Souza AC, presented the vision and mission of the institution, highlighting Carmel's commitment to holistic and value-based education. The programme was graced by the presence of the administrator, Sr Julie Ann AC, the vice principal Sr Anitha and the coordinators.

Addressing the gathering, Sr Maria Ujvala AC expressed her happiness and pride in becoming a part of the Carmel family. She appreciated the dedication of the staff and the enthusiasm of the students. Emphasising the importance of value-based education, she encouraged the students to develop strong moral values and self-confidence. Quoting the inspiring words, “Believe in yourself even when nobody else does,” she motivated the students to strive for excellence and face challenges with courage and determination.

The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, staff members, students, and all those who contributed to the success of the event.
