The annual general body meeting of Saudi Billawas Dammam, Saudi Arabia, was held on Friday at the Plexon Auditorium of Puli Restaurant in Jubail under the presidency of Satish Kumar Anchan Bajal.

The programme commenced with a prayer rendered by renowned Yakshagana Bhagavat Roshan Kotian, followed by the traditional lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries on the dais to formally inaugurate the event.

The general secretary presented the annual report, while treasurer Harish Poojary Thonse tabled the financial statements. This was followed by an interactive discussion and a question-and-answer session regarding the reports.

Senior member and honorary president Sadashiva Poojary seamlessly conducted the election process for the new office bearers and executive committee for the year 2026-27. Addressing the gathering, he extended his best wishes to the newly formed committee. Another honorary president and young entrepreneur, Yogesh Poojary Katapadi, also addressed the audience, offering valuable guidance and conveying his best wishes to the new team.

President Satish Kumar Anchan Bajal detailed the action plan and programmes lined up for the 2026-27 term. He eloquently explained the significance of the association and adeptly answered queries from the members, earning widespread appreciation.

The formal meeting was followed by a vibrant cultural programme featuring songs and dances by members and children. A raffle ticket draw was conducted by Manohar Amin and Dakshay. Throughout the event, Praveen Poojary showcased the association's various activities and milestones through a projector presentation.

Joint secretary Rajesh Thonse delivered the vote of thanks, and organising secretary and coordinator Chetana Poojary skillfully compered the programme.
