Udupi: Student leaders sworn in at Glowinstar Integrated School

Udupi, Jun 6: Glowinstar Integrated School proudly organised its investiture ceremony to formally appoint the newly elected student leaders and entrust them with their responsibilities for the academic year.

The ceremony was conducted with great dignity and enthusiasm, marking an important milestone in the school's commitment to nurturing leadership, discipline, and responsibility among students.

The programme commenced with a warm and cordial welcome address delivered by Sudeep of class 10, the head boy. Following the welcome address, the most awaited segment of the programme, the pinning of badges, took place. Dr T J Quadros, the principal and Neethew Fernandes, the headmistress formally conferred badges upon the newly elected prefects. The prefects proudly received their badges, symbolising the trust and confidence placed in them by the school community.

A solemn oath-taking ceremony followed. The oath was administered by the principal, who called upon the prefects to commit themselves to their responsibilities with honesty, integrity, and a spirit of service.

The principal then addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech and emphasised the importance of leadership, teamwork, responsibility, and commitment. He congratulated the prefects on their achievement and wished them success in their leadership journey.

The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks proposed by Shriya Poojary of class 10, the head girl. The ceremony ended on a positive note, leaving the students motivated to uphold the honour and reputation of their institution.
