Mangaluru: Malabar Gold & Diamonds meaningfully celebrates World Environment Day

Mangaluru, Jun 6: On the occasion of World Environment Day, Malabar Gold & Diamonds, organized a series of eco-friendly initiatives to mark the day in a meaningful manner.

The programme commenced with a tree plantation drive at Tagore Park, Mangaluru. The event was attended by Dayananda Poojary, environmental engineer of Mangalore City Corporation; Vinayak S M, health supervisor; environmental enthusiast Madhav Ullal; Hafeez Rahman, store head of Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Mangaluru; Shaikh Farhan, marketing manager; along with members of the organization’s management.

Following the plantation drive at Tagore Park, over 25 saplings were distributed at Kunil School, Deralakatte, where additional tree planting activities were also carried out within the school premises. Later, saplings were distributed to customers visiting the Malabar Gold & Diamonds showroom in Mangaluru, spreading awareness about environmental conservation.

Organized with the objective of promoting environmental protection and building a greener future, the initiative marks an important step towards creating awareness in society. Malabar Gold & Diamonds reaffirmed its commitment towards environmental sustainability and expressed its intent to continue conducting such socially and environmentally responsible initiatives in the future.
