Mangaluru, Jun 5: The academic year 2026–27 at St Theresa School commenced on a prayerful and grace-filled note with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist on June 3. The students, teachers, and staff gathered as one family in the parish church to seek God's abundant blessings, wisdom, guidance, and protection for the year ahead.
The Holy Mass was solemnly celebrated by Fr Flavian Lobo, professor at St Joseph's Seminary whose inspiring homily encouraged the students and staff to place their trust in God, cultivate gratitude, and remain steadfast in faith throughout their academic journey. His message reminded everyone that true success is achieved when knowledge is accompanied by values and faith.

The Eucharistic celebration was marked by reverence, devotion, and active participation. The students prayerfully took part in the liturgy, while the choir enhanced the celebration through their soulful hymns and melodious singing, creating an atmosphere of worship and thanksgiving. The efforts of the teachers who guided and prepared the students for the liturgy contributed greatly to the meaningful celebration of the Mass.
As the celebration drew to a close, the entire school community entrusted the new academic year into the loving hands of God, praying for wisdom, knowledge, good health, character formation, and spiritual growth. The Holy Eucharist served as a powerful reminder that every endeavour begins with God's blessings and that faith remains the foundation of all learning and growth.
The solemn celebration marked a blessed and meaningful beginning to the academic year, inspiring everyone to move forward with confidence, hope, and trust in God's providence.
