Murder accused brought to Goa from Maharashtra in Kudnem woman’s killing case

Panaji, May 22: Goa Police have brought murder accused Sagar Rawal to the state from Maharashtra after his arrest in connection with the alleged killing of Shaila Ghadi in Kudnem.

According to police sources, Rawal allegedly assaulted and murdered Shaila Ghadi before fleeing Goa following the incident.

Police launched a search operation with assistance from Maharashtra Police and later traced and arrested the accused in Maharashtra.

The accused was brought to Goa on Friday morning for further interrogation and legal proceedings.

Officials said the investigation into the murder case is currently in progress.
