Grand statue of Lord Parshuram unveiled at Chopdem on Akshaya Tritiya

Panaji, Apr 19: On the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, Mandrem MLA Jit Arolkar inaugurated a towering 13.5-foot statue of Parshuram at the entrance of Chopdem, marking a significant cultural addition to the region.

The statue, crafted from a blend of five different metals, is intended to serve as a prominent spiritual and cultural symbol for locals and visitors alike.

Addressing the gathering during the unveiling ceremony, Arolkar also revealed plans for the construction of a dedicated temple for Lord Parshuram in the Mandrem constituency in the near future.
