Karapur-Sarvan, Apr 13: Villagers of Karapur-Sarvan have intensified their protest against the proposed mega project, asserting that the agitation will not be withdrawn until the project is completely scrapped.

The protest, which has entered its eighth day, has witnessed large participation from locals, including women and children, indicating strong resistance within the community. Residents have been gathering daily to voice their concerns and press for the cancellation of the project.

The movement has also gained support from social groups and people from across Goa, further strengthening the agitation.

On Sunday, villagers presented their grievances before local authorities and urged immediate intervention. Protesters, however, remain firm, stating that the agitation will continue until their demands are fulfilled.
