New Delhi, Apr 3: Raghav Chadha on Friday expressed dissatisfaction a day after the Aam Aadmi Party removed him as its Deputy Leader in the Rajya Sabha.
In a video message, Chadha questioned the decision, asking whether raising public issues in Parliament had become a “crime.” “Whenever I get a chance to speak in Parliament, I raise public issues. I bring up topics that are rarely discussed. Have I done something wrong?” he said.

He further claimed that the party had requested the Rajya Sabha Secretariat to prevent him from speaking in the House.
The development comes after the AAP on Thursday formally wrote to the Rajya Sabha Secretariat seeking Chadha’s removal as Deputy Leader, proposing Ashok Mittal, a Member of Parliament from Punjab, as his replacement.
The move signals internal developments within the party led by Arvind Kejriwal, though no official reason has been publicly stated for the change.
