Margao, Mar 28: Goa Police on Saturday arrested a man for allegedly exposing himself to two minor children at a store in South Goa, officials said.
The incident occurred on Friday when the children, aged five and seven, had visited the store with their mother. According to a complaint lodged at the Fartoda Police Station, the accused, Tiburcio Monteiro, allegedly flashed the children at the billing counter.
Police traced the accused to Ponda and apprehended him later the same night.
A case has been registered under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, along with provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) and the Goa Children’s Act.
Further investigation into the case is underway.
